Dale BennettExtension 21 years, 7 in Louisiana and the past 14 years in Florida. Wakulla County is located in northwest Florida about 20 miles south of the capital city, Tallahassee, Florida. B.S. Degree in Agricultural and Extension Education from the University of Maryland, and M.S. Degree in Extension Education from Louisiana State University. Taught junior high school Vocational Agriculture for seven years in Maryland and high school Vocational Agriculture for three years in Florida. My wife Sharon and I have a daughter 30 years old and a son 28 years old. We also have four grandchildren.

An Extension agent for 17 years working in the areas of Family and Consumer Sciences and 4-H/Youth. My husband Craig and I have one daughter, Whitney, and one son, Joseph.  We live in the rural town of Bristol, Florida

Diana ConverseResponsible for programming in Child Development, Parenting and Family Relationships, and have been with the University of Florida Extension for over 19 years.  The program leader for the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences in Hillsborough County. 
M.S. in Human Science Education from Florida State University, B.S. from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. Taught Vocational Home Economics in Ohio for two years before moving to Florida.  I live with my three daughters (ages 16, 14, and 11) near Tampa, Florida

A founding member of the Florida Association of Natural Resources Extension Professionals and is currently serving a one year term as President.

Dr. Henry G. Grant, County Extension Director, Gadsden County, Quincy, FL.
Dr. Henry GrantNative of Westminster, South Carolina, B.S. from South Carolina State University, M.S. from the University of Florida, Ph.D. from University of Maryland, College Park.  Served as Extension Agent for Florida A & M University in Gadsden County for 23 years, with emphasis in community resource development and small farm programs.  Currently serves as the Gadsden County Extension Director specializing in community resource development and livestock.  Married to Sandra Ransom and have four children: Justin, Javard, Jaye and Jacqueline.

Marilyn Simmons,   Family and Consumer Sciences and 4-H in Levy County, Florida. 
Marilyn SimmonsProgram areas include:  housing and home environments; parenting and child development; volunteer development; and 4-H Family and Consumer Sciences and leadership.  Levy County is a rural, Gulf coast county with a population of 35,000. 

The majority of workers drive to adjoining counties for jobs.  The major crops in the county are pine trees, seafood, watermelons and peanuts.  The Levy County School Board, which administers the public schools, is the county's largest employer.

John M. Stevely,    Marine Extension Agent, Multi-county, Tampa Bay area.  Office in Palmetto, Manatee County. 
John StevelyMarine Extension Agent, Florida Sea Grant College Program, Florida west coast. B.A. Biology, Gettysburg College; M.S. Marine Science, University of South Florida. Major themes of professional interest: fisheries management, coastal habitat restoration, artificial reef program development, natural resource management. He has conducted extensive research on commercial sponge biology and fishery management. He has served as a technical advisor on sponge fishery management for the governments of the Bahamas, Belize, Cuba, Mexico, Federated States of Micronesia, and Greece.

Steven Brown,  Horticulture Agent, Lee County Extension, Fort Myers, Florida
Steven BrownM.S. in Soil Fertility and Plant Nutrition from the University of Florida, Gainesville. Nine years in Lee County, southwest Florida,  working with commercial farmers from 1993 through 1999. He is now an urban horticulturist and his duties include coordinating the Master Gardner program, instructing and advising commercial landscapers, and conducting pesticide license certification trainings. Stephen was an Extension Agent in Los Angeles, California, and Jamaica, West Indies from 1984-1993 and 1982-1984, respectively. He has a keen interest in tropical flowering trees and tropical landscape.

Dr. Pete Vergot IIIResponsible for Extension Faculty of the18 Counties of the Northwest District of Florida, The District Office is located at the North Florida Research and Education Center in Quincy Florida. B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. in Agriculture and Extension Education, Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. Taught high school youth Vocational Agriculture for seven years in Michigan before 18 years working in Extension, 14 in the State of Michigan and the past four in University of Florida Extension. My wife Cheryl and I live in the capital city Tallahassee, Florida
